PTSD & Complex PTSD
Complex PTSD develops from prolonged or repeated trauma — often relational — and can affect identity, emotional regulation, and how safe connection feels. This is the core focus of Blossoming Minds: helping adults with C-PTSD grow into their authentic selves and build lives that feel aligned, connected, and self-directed.
Our approach
[Placeholder copy — replace with Kayla's own clinical voice.] PTSD and Complex PTSD are treated as adaptive responses to what happened to you — not as evidence that something is wrong with who you are. Care is rooted in trauma-informed principles: transparency, collaboration, empowerment, and respect for your full humanity throughout the process.
Because Complex PTSD often affects identity and relational patterns as much as specific memories, this work tends to be longer-term and layered — addressing symptom regulation, processing the underlying experiences, and rebuilding a stable, trusted sense of self and connection to others.
What to expect
[Placeholder] Expect a steady, non-hierarchical partnership. We'll work at a pace that respects your nervous system, build skills for regulation and safety, and move into deeper processing when — and only when — you're ready.
